Welcome bag ideas

First impressions are everything in life and this sentiment holds true for your wedding. When your guests check in to their hotel room you want to greet them with a creative and personalized welcome bag to let them know you are grateful for their attendance. Below are some ideas of the goodies you can supply for your friends and family.

If you are having a lot of out-of-towners who don't know the area make sure their stay is more comfortable with a list of local stores and hot spots.

Your welcome bags should also include a treat local to where your wedding is taking place. If you are having a beach wedding or near the Jersey Shore, add some salt water taffy or local chocolates.

At least one personalized item should be included as well like a monogrammed cookie of your names or wedding date. Include bottled water or seltzer in case your gets are thirsty when they arrive or want something do drink in the middle of the night.

Don't forget to include an itinerary for guests to keep them in the loop of the festivities. This should include shuttle departure times, ceremony and reception time and any after hour or next day brunch information.

If your wedding ended up being the party of the decade your guests will appreciate the small pack of pain relievers you threw in their welcome bag come morning!
