The Palace in Somerset Park New Jersey was the setting for Lauren and Bryan’s winter wedding. The late afternoon ceremony took place in the grand foyer in front of a 15 foot Christmas tree with 22 bridal party (yes that’s not a typo) members and 300 of their family and friends.
The colors for this winter wedding were merlot, blush and gold accents. We went with a cozy, warm and homey feel for the venue with had a fireplace in the ballroom. The tables were decorated with mix matches lanterns on wood slabs filled with fairy lights, greenery and flowers.
The mild temperatures allowed for pictures outdoors on the gorgeous grounds complete with a night shot in a light rain.
Skipping the traditional cake cutting, the newlyweds opted for a pizza tower to cut into and feed each other which was a big hit!
The best elements from Lauren and Bryan’s wedding were the details they made their own like personal touches that showed who they are rather than what’s traditional. You want to put your stamp on a wedding to make it uniquely your day!
